Templenoe(An Teampaill Nua), or New Church, is a civil parish, in the barony of Dunkerron, county of Kerry, and province of MUNSTER.
It is a dispersed rural settlement located on the N70 on the Iveragh Peninsula and Ring of Kerry tourist route. It is approximately 7km to the west of Kenmare town.
There are no real population figures for Templenoe itself available however the census of 2006 recorded 248 persons in the townland of Greenane, which is more or less the same area.
The census of 2011 shows a figure of 247 so a change of minus 1.


The Ring Of Kerry golfclub is located in Templenoe which has stunning views over the Kenmare River. There is one local pub owned by former GAA star and now TV GAA commentator Pat Spillane.

Templenoe include many townlands including : Cappanacush East and West, Greenane, Dromore, Capparoe and Rossacoosane. In Dromore wood the ruins of Cappanacush castle can be found although its pretty overgrown now.
